Samuel went looking for first place but came away with UGX 4,000,000 and an Argentina jersey bearing Lionel Messi’s signature.
Samuel is an engineer living in Mukono Town, a place he describes as growing quickly through new roads, buildings and infrastructure.
“The best aspect of my life and community is my deep passion for my profession and the work I do.”
Engineering is more than an occupation. To him, it’s a prize. There’s an unmistakable pride in the way he talks about both his work and his surroundings.
“Hard work pays off.”
“I play JetX more frequently than other casino games because I am more familiar with it.”
He says he first noticed the promotion while playing as usual and decided to try the available spins. A quick check of the leaderboard showed he was nowhere near the front.
Initially, anyway.
Once Samuel saw himself climbing, casual interest turned into proper leaderboard watching.
“Like anyone else, I was aiming for the top prize, so I played with the goal of winning it.”
First place escaped him but second place came carrying.
“On the day I won this prize, I just woke up and, as usual, logged into my betPawa account to play. To my surprise, I saw UGX 4 million credited to my balance. My first thought was to plan how I would spend my winnings because I felt extremely happy.”
Some mornings need coffee. This one came caffeinated.
“The first person I shared the good news with was my wife, who was overjoyed for me.”
Samuel is a Manchester United supporter, but there are certain pieces of football memorabilia capable of crossing club lines without asking permission.
A Lionel Messi-signed Argentina jersey is comfortably one of them.
“I felt so happy and blessed to have a signed Argentina jersey.”
And unlike the previous JetX winner, who planned to wear his signed shirt, Samuel chose preservation over swagger.
“I definitely plan to frame it, display it proudly in my sitting room.”
He closes with perhaps the strongest message we’ve had from a winner.
“To my fellow JetX players, please always wager only what you can afford to lose. No matter how small, play responsibly. Avoid using money meant for other expenses for betting, as this is a game of chance, and losing that money can hurt you.”
Enjoy the game. Keep the stakes within your means. And remember that chance remains chance, leaderboard or no leaderboard.
25+. Play responsibly. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
